The oldest butchers in Surrey has been providing quality meats for 250 years, and the knowledge passed down 11 generations of family. A lot of the meat from this store has come from their own farms, including rearing their own turkeys for a range of sizes ready for Christmas celebrations.

Graham has been a butcher for 50 years, so it's safe to say he knows his trade. The shop provides the classic meats but also some different meats and cuts which you wouldn't find in a supermarket or many other butchers, they are also noted for their aged meats in particular.

Michael Humphries Fine Foods
Michael started in the butchery trade since he was 15 and hasn't looked back. This shop was started over 30 years ago and 60% of his meats are produced in a 5 mile radius of the shop, the rest are from farms in Surrey and Hampshire which he has a great relationship with. You can really tell the difference in his produce, especially the sausages. He was given the Countryside Alliance Award in 2012 for his efforts.

P J Dale
Dale's butchers has been trading for over 150 years and it's current owners have 90 years of butcher expertise between them. The shop is near Hampton Court Palace (which it supplies) and is especially well known for trading free range, rare breeds and a wide selection of game and fowl.

This family butchers has an excellent selection of meats, in particular it's game (when in season). It also has an especially good Deli counter supplying excellent cheeses in which the shop takes great pride. Bob & Teds has a second store based in Wimbledon.

The Ginger Pig butchers started 20 years ago and now has several shops dotted in and around London. The Clapham store is particularly large with two huge counters; one filled with meat, poultry and sausages and the other a selection of cured and cooked produce. The Barnes shop is of smaller size and run by a super happy chatty team. Both the stores sell the best quality meat as well as a selection of preserves, chutneys and jellies.
