Windsor-born James Haskell is doubtless in the best shape of his life as he pounds the pitch in the Rugby World Cup – and he's got tips and tipples to help keep you fit, too
While Windsor's local All Blacks veteran Zinzan Brooke, has teamed up with the Eton and Windsor Brewery to create a World Cup ale (you can read our interview with him online), he's not the only local player taking a keen interest in the delicacies of what we consume.
England’s James Haskell is currently slogging it out in the tournament, so he’s not slugging back the amber nectar à la Zinzan. Instead, the Windsor-born rugby star is downing coconut oil and protein supplements, which he sells via his website.
With the exacting demands of life as a professional athlete, it‘s not surprising that James, who used to play for Maidenhead RFC, has created a website sharing his expertise for maintaining top form.
As well as sharing tasty recipes, dietary advice and fitness tips, he has also produced his own range of nutritional products. As the Bake-Off dominates our screens, I can't wait to try my hand at his protein muffins recipe!
