Fashion tips for the school run

Looking for full marks in the school style stakes? Mrs Stylist’s done the revision for you. Follow her tips for straight As every time

Mrs Stylist's Top Tips

  1. Sounds obvious, but put out clothes the night before and hang outfit accessories on the same hanger too.
  2. A statement coat makes a good purchase and can be thrown over last-minute looks or even gym wear.
  3. Even the smallest amount of make-up can make a look more polished. Keep a gloss or lipstick in your pocket for on-the-run application.
  4. Liking the clothes you put on in the morning can have a huge impact on how you feel about yourself for the rest of the day.

Here are some of my favourite fashion picks from this season that will help you turn the school run into a walkway...

Backpacks aren’t just for kids. Keep your hands free for early morning multitasking

  • Nine by Savannah Miller, khaki green & black animal print jumpsuit, £60; debenhams.com
