The full circuit of the lake is an energising 5.25 miles, but the walks to the Cascade and the Leptis Magna Ruins are a much shorter and more casual stroll.

The 6 mile walk can be seen as difficult with there often being challenging terrain with some hilly climbs and can take approximately 3 hours to complete. To break up the walk, stepping stones pub is around 300 metres away and walkers can stop at the Denbies Vineyard cafe approximately halfway round.

Scale the heights of Leith Hill and be rewarded with breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside. The National Trust car park provides convenient parking, and dogs are permitted on designated trails, ensuring a family-friendly experience.
Generally considered a moderately challenging 3.9km route, it can take walkers around 1 h 15 min to complete and is a circular route.
