GreanTea Productions, the young local production company of Esher College alumni, will stage Stones, an original darkly comic mystery, at the Charles Cryer Studio Theatre from September 3-5
Seven strangers wake in a cell. They don’t know each other, or where they are, or how they got there.
They hardly even know themselves.
But they all know they have something to hide.
Stones is the latest production from the production company GreanTea Productions. Much like their previous production Immortal, it comes from the pen of Ciaran McConville, the Rose Theatre’s Director of Learning and Participation. A black comedy with a hefty dose of mystery, it slowly reveals the seven different back stories in a story of a surreal battle for survival.
Immortal won acclaim earlier this year, not least from our own reviewer Matt James, so anticipation is high for this young company.
The members of GreanTea Productions, none older than 19, met whilst studying at Esher College. Now, under the direction of Kingston-born Nicole Burley, producer Finn Cole and executive producer Olly Fawcett, the team will bring their energy and enthusiasm to the newly-refurbished studio The Cryer on September 3.
