Five-time Oscar nominee Sir Kenneth Branagh is broadcasting his latest production, The Winter's Tale starring Surrey's Dame Judi Dench, around the country on November 26
Sir Kenneth Branagh's known for bringing Shakespeare to the silver screen; Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, Love's Labours Lost and As You Like It have all been acted out before the Northern-Irish director's camera.
Now he's returning the bard to the stage at London's Garrick Theatre, in The Winter's Tale – but it'll be on the big screen anyway, screened live at cinemas around the country on November 26, 6.45pm.
The show has a great cast, including Surrey's own Dame Judi Dench and Kenneth himself (younger readers may remember him as Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter) and a fantastic pedigree. Not one to be missed, if you can help it!
The wintry tragicomedy will be showing at cinemas near you – check Odeon, Vue, and Everyman to find some venues and book tickets.
Exit, pursued by a bear!
