As the world’s most pampered and preened pooches take to the stage at Crufts this month, yogahaven has teamed up with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for an evening of Doga (dog yoga, to the uninitiated)…
On Thursday 21st March yogahaven’s founder, Allie Hill, will take the lead - quite literally - in this rather special fundraising class. To the amusement of some five of Battersea’s furry friends, this 90-minute yoga class will take place on the vertiginous seventh floor of Battersea’s eye-catching blue centre in London, overlooking some of the Capital’s most iconic landmarks. From downward dog to cat pose this class is suitable for all levels, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
Visiting yogis will be greeted by a group of ex Battersea residents and pre-yoga will have the opportunity to mingle with the mutts among the yoga mats while listening to a talk from Battersea’s longstanding volunteer Chris McLean. After the session, you will enjoy a well-earned drink and power-snack will follow, courtesy of Brickwood, with all guests leaving with a great goody bag, and possibly dreaming of adopting a new dog.
