Littleton Sailing Club enjoys exclusive use of a picturesque lake of some 80 acres between Shepperton and Chertsey. There are about 400 members in total. Littleton Sailing Club was officially opened in June 1958 and was the Civil Service Sailing Association's first active club.
There is club sailing at weekends throughout the year and on Thursday evenings during the summer months. Adopted classes are Solos, Lasers, Optimists and sailboards. There is also an active handicap fleet.
Besides sailing, the club holds a variety of social events, connected with its activities. Members are kept up to date through a newsletter published bimonthly. Membership is not restricted to Civil Service Sailing Association members. Non-Civil Servants may apply to join Littleton Lake Sailing Club.
