IncrEdibles festival at Kew Gardens
Take a voyage through autumn’s surprisingly edible delights. You might even be inspired enough to try and grow some at home! Explore the stunning Kitchen Garden which features over 90 edible plants from every corner of the globe. Discover where our best loved foods have travelled from in order to end up on your plate, and find out interesting facts about some of the more obscure edible plants.

Taste of Autumn Festival, All RHS Gardens
Celebrate the plenty of autumn across all RHS Gardens with over 40 food and drink stalls, tastings, talks, walks, expert advice and cookery demonstrations on how to cope with gluts of seasonal produce. Don’t miss out on a chance to meet celebrity chef James Martin, who will be headlining the first day of the festival at Wisley. Food writer Rosemary Moon will also be present, and will be giving cookery demonstrations in the Marquee.

Evening gardening talk at Bourne Hall, Ewell
Join the Ewell Horticultural Association (EHA) for Mr M. Harwood’s talk on daffodils. Harwood will be sharing tips on how to grow perfect daffodils and go on to show them at EHA shows.

October Half Term, 'Sense-ational Autumn' All RHS Gardens
Get creative with hands-on art and craft activities aimed at children and based on exploring the senses of touch, smell, sight and hearing.
Free entry for members, standard garden admission price for non members
Coverwood Lakes, NGS
Follow a marked trail through the 180-acre working farm, and see Hereford cows and calves, sheep, horses, and extensive views of the surrounding hills. Also visit the 14-acre landscaped garden, where you can admire the rhododendrons, azaleas, fine trees and 3½-acre lakeside arboretum.
