On September 19, one day after the biggest Rugby World Cup ever kicks off at Twickenham, the Smallest Rugby World Cup will show that size doesn't matter
A dozen of the tiniest rugby clubs the world can muster, from England, Wales, Malta and further afield, will come together at Kingston University Sports Ground on September 19.
This whole event was organised by the local Tolworth club Racal Decca RFC. Originally the social arm of a now-defunct gramophone company, they now lack a clubhouse, pitch or fixed homebase, but still play more than twenty regular season games each year, with tours throughout the country and even overseas.
They're the epitome of the small-club spirit this tournament promises to celebrate - an amazing showcase of grassroots rugby.
Check the website for details. Entry is £3, though kids get in free
