The Affordable Arts Fair returns to Battersea this month (March 10-13) with paintings, photography, sculpture and prints from over 100 galleries in the UK

Mae Gallery, Louise Braithwaite, London Marathon
As the name suggests, the yearly Affordable Art Fair at Battersea is focused on making art more accessible to the general public, with prices that the average-artistic-joe can afford. All the artwork is priced between £100 – £5,000 making it an excellent place to invest in an up-and-coming artist or to source a gem from well-known names.
This year The Art Movement Gallery, which recently opened a stone’s throw from the landmark power station, hosts a David Bowie tribute with an array of work inspired by the music legend.
If you’re new to buying, the fair runs tours to introduce all that’s on offer and there are numerous workshops and talks to help you find your own creative spark, including short courses from art college, Central Saint Martins and a workshop inspired by critically-acclaimed artist, Alexander Calder whose work is currently being exhibited at Tate Modern. Don’t miss the opportunity to get hands on with drypoint printmaking, a perennial favourite at the show.
Tickets to the event range from £8-20, buy them here
