The Getty Images Archive: Hollywood Photographs , The Lightbox, Woking: This new exhibition will feature photographic portraits of some of the most iconic stars of the silver screen taken between 1930 and 1950, an era now regarded as the classic period of Hollywood still photography. The exhibition will also include a number of unique behind-the-scenes, informal portraits of stars taken far from the film set and away from the glare of publicity

Emma Dunbar: A few of my favourite things, New Ashgate Gallery
A long-awaited solo exhibition of paintings by Emma Dunbar featuring Hampshire and Cornwall scenes. Her attraction to colour and the decorative qualities in everyday objects provide the foundation for her art. Her influences come from Cornish holidays, cats and children wandering onto wet paint, beautiful fruits in the greengrocer and her growing collection of cups, mugs and jugs.

To celebrate 21 years at the Surrey Guild Craft Gallery in Milford, contributers were challenged to produce three exceptional pieces to showcase their craft for a touring public exhibition that will be staged throughout 2014. They have responded with some truly stunning work. This will champion the extraordinary and diverse range of Contemporary Craft to be found in and around Surrey, represented by the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen.

The Ingram Collection: Skyscapes, The Lightbox
This exhibition brings together Modern British Art with pieces of art created by local community groups. Artists such as Mary Branson and Jono Retallick have worked with people with learning difficulties to produce wonderful skyscrape prints and an extraordinary installation which will be exhibited alongside the skyscrapes from The Ingram Collection of Modern British Art that inspired them.

Three Artists Who Celebrate Form, Angela Kilenyi, Edwina Wardle & Catherine Ball, The Fountain Gallery, East Molesey
Angela Kilenyi specialises in sensitive life drawings and studies and will also be showing striking paintings in acrylics. Edwina Wardle creates abstracted landscapes and images of natural forms, which are beautifully evocative. Catherine Ball’s delightful raku figures, also based on the human form, have wonderfully subtle surface effects, resulting from the firing process.

Ellen Terry: The Painter's Actress, Watts Gallery, Compton
A star of the English stage for many decades from the 1860s to the 1920s, Ellen Terry formed a unique point of exchange between the theatre, painting, photography and fashion. This exhibition marks the 150th anniversary of the actress’ marriage to George Frederic Watts in 1864. The exhibition explores the impact Ellen had on visual arts and also displays a selection of Watts’ portraits of the actress.

An Artist of the Third Age, Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington
