With 15 albums in the UK album charts and four top 20 singles from 1977 to date, Barbara Dickson is Scotland's biggest selling female artist of all time and she is coming to Surrey in February.
The singer/actress enjoyed mainstream success in the 70's and 80's after a guest residency on The Two Ronnies led Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to ask her to record on their new musical – Evita.
Stage appearances followed in the musicals – Blood Brothers and Spend, Spend, Spend in a varied career that has spanned five decades.
For the time being however, she is concentrating on going back to her Liverpool folk roots, with 24 UK dates across February and March.
She will be performing songs from her prolific back catalogue at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill on February 18.
