Brooklands Museum celebrates British car manufacturers Austin and Morris
Are you a British classic car fanatic? Then head to the Brooklands Museum, which is hosting its 21st annual British Manufacturers event. On the 9th March classic car fans will gather to celebrate two of the great British car manufacturers, Austin and Morris.
The museum expects to attract over 100 vehicles for the event, which will all park up to be admired in and around the Paddock. As well as clubs and individuals displaying pre-war cars, the Cambridge & Oxford, 1100 and Metro Clubs will also be in attendance.
All types of Austin and Morris vehicles will attempt the famous Test Hill, take part in a cavalcade on the Mercedes-Benz World track and gather 7 or 8 deep for a mass photo opportunity on the Members’ Banking.
Expect to see cars like the Austin Seven, Ten, Healey and Austin Mini. Also, the Morris Bullnose, Eight, Marina and Minor amongst others.
This will be a truly fantastic event and a fun-packed day for anyone who loves to hear the roar of a classic engine.
Usual Museum admission prices apply for this event: Adults £11, Seniors £10, Children (5-16 yrs) £6, Family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children) £30.
There is a £1 reduction for those arriving in Austin or Morris cars.
