I’m Still Standing was once just an Elton John song – now it’s the inspirational story of Sandhurst resident Ray Edwards MBE. An inspirational speaker, Ray is also chairman of the charity Limbcare, based in Camberley.
His book is a way of raising the profile of amputees, continuing the legacy of the Paralympics by giving hope and inspiration for the future, spreading the message that everyone can overcome anything with enough determination.
It is a steely read.
