Here, at Essential Surrey and SW London, we love to see your pictures of the local area. It inspires us to break the routine and venture out to rediscover the reasons we love Surrey & SW London in the first place. It helps us to find the niche, never seen before places that have been hidden under our noses the entire time, while also falling back in love with the places we've visited often.
So, for our top pictures this week take a look below:
1. Guildford

@pwalkersculptor
The Guildford Cathedral is hosting a few events for Armistice 2018. One of them was the Poppy Fields artworks light show that took place on the 5th and 6th of October that was a truly incredible experience. You can keep up with their future events here.
Kingston

@quiero_la_felicidad
Kingston can be a beautiful place, but sometimes we need reminding. After a long day at work, why not enjoy the sunsets over the river and unwind in nature while the good weather lasts. It's the perfect chance to rediscover the beauty of Kingston.
Wotton

@lucyinthecottage
Wotton, for me, is the perfect wedding destination. Wotton House serves as a truly gorgeous place to get married. But that's not all Wotton has to offer. Especially as Halloween is just around the corner. Check out Wotton Farm Shop to see this impressive pumpkin display and pick up some bits to indulge in!
Hampton Court

@12mm_view
We know Hampton Court Palace of course, and while it's the perfect attraction to visit. Sometimes, we lose sight of the other historical beauties right under our nose. Enjoy the sunset at the Long Water river and look out at the lime trees. Did you know they were planted as a gift for Catherine of Braganza by King Charles II as a wedding present in the 1660s?
Teddington

@12mm_view
There are so many gorgeous sights in Teddington. With lots of nature and lots of woodlands and parks it really makes for the perfect Sunday afternoon walk. But this week, Bushy Park takes the spotlight.
Surrey Hills

@bruno_conceicao_p
Painshill Park really is a treat and where better place to take a moment than right here? Did you know recently there's been some controversy about feeding the swans bread. You can read all about it here.
Richmond

@dimitar_hr
Richmond Park tends to always steal the spotlight. And with good reason - it has and always will be one of our favourite places to go. But why not enjoy a morning coffee near Richmond Bridge before everything comes to life.
Clapham

@lorileysesh
Clapham is known for its little bits of greenery, amazing cafes and a hotspot when night falls. Ao, it's only natural that when we think of Clapham our stomachs begin to roar. The food is amazing -and if you're looking for a gluten-free, delicious breakfast then make sure to check out Brickwood Coffee & Bread.
Woking

@eleannakarakousi
Have you been to Woking Park before? If you're looking for something easy to do this weekend that doesn't break the bank then why not take the whole family out for a walk. It will help up your energy levels and will take away all the week's stress.
New Malden

@ye_n_k_xo
When isn't there a good time to have fish and chips? There's nothing better than a good chippy. And it's even nicer when you can have posh fish and chips and that's exactly what Earl Beatty has to offer. Doesn't it just make your mouth water?!
