A woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, after colliding with a five-year-old boy on a bike.
Officers were called to Gole Road, Pirbright at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, 6 January, after reports a car and a young cyclist had been involved in a collision outside of the Golf Course.
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and the cyclist, a five-year-old boy, was taken to St Georges Hospital for treatment to serious injuries. The driver of the car was taken to hospital after suffering shock.
Road closures are in place in the immediate area while emergency crews attend the scene.
