A teenager has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Guildford which occurred in October.
Officers were called to an address in Cranley Road at around 8.10pm on Monday, 13 October following a report that a man had been stabbed.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to St Georges Hospital in Tooting for treatment to his injuries which were described as life threatening. He has since been discharged.
On Friday, 19 December a teenager was arrested in connection with this incident.
The following day, Saturday, 20 December, a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with attempted murder. He is due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates Court in Redhill today (Monday, 22 December).
