Surrey residents invited to property open days in Caterham to identify recovered stolen items
Surrey Police is holding two property open days in Caterham this month to help identify owners of recovered property, particularly costume jewellery.
The events are taking place at the police station in Timberhill Road, CR3 6LD on Tuesday, 12 August between 5pm and 9pm and on Sunday, 17 August between 10am and 3pm.
The items on display are all believed to have been stolen from burglaries across the county and from offences in the Kent and Sussex border areas.
The jewellery, which includes a vast array of earrings, necklaces, brooches, bracelets, necklaces and watches, has been stolen from detached houses and bungalows sometime between the end of 2010 and May 2014.
Any victims of burglary who may have had jewellery stolen are invited to attend in order that items may be re-united with their rightful owner.
