Lythe Hill Hotel wins top national award!
LateRooms.com, the UK’s leading online accommodation booking site, has revealed that Lythe Hill Hotel, Restaurant & Spa on the Petworth Road in Haslemere is the outright winner in the coveted 2013 “Simply The Guest” national awards – the hospitality industry’s equivalent of the Oscars!
Lythe Hill is a historic Country House Hotel, set in 20 acres of woodland on the slopes of the Surrey/Sussex Hills. The former farm house and outbuildings form a picturesque hamlet on the outskirts of the market town of Haslemere. The hotel 4 star hotel, which has 44 bedrooms, some of which date back to 1475, beat over 65,000 other properties on the LateRooms site to win the award.
“Coming first in the “Simply the Guest” awards is absolutely thrilling and I am very proud of my fabulous, hard-working team and honoured to receive this prestigious award,” said General Manager, Simon Drake.
“We know that our customers are looking for something a bit different, as well as a first rate experience and we have scoured our guest reviews to find the top rated properties, of which, Lythe Hill was a clear and outstanding winner,” commented Lynda Matthews, Head of Marketing at LateRooms.
“We evaluate the feedback of each individual guest review and this score is used to identify hotels all over Britain on their service, cleanliness, location, and general guest experience. LateRooms guests are only given the opportunity to review a property once their stay is complete, which ensures that each and every review is genuine.”
