A cash machine at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge was stolen after a pick-up truck was used to ram through the glass entrance of the building.
A group of men have now been charged with the aggravated burglary, which occurred on Monday night (15 December).
Security guards were threatened by the balaclava wearing offenders, after a truck rammed through the glass entrance of the building at 11.30pm.
The cash machine was then ripped free before being loaded onto the vehicle.
The vehicle made off and was pursued by officers from Surrey Police to the Manor Road area of Wokingham, Berkshire. The occupants, five men, were arrested at around 12.15am.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Nancy Greenslade-Jones said: “I would appeal to anybody who saw anything suspicious in or around the locality of the offence in the days leading up to the incident, or at the time it happened, to get in touch urgently.
“We believe another vehicle and a further group of people were involved in this burglary, which is why it is so important for anyone who has any information to get in touch and help us with our investigation.
“We are aware of several other incidents of a similar nature having taken place around the county in recent weeks and are not ruling out that they are linked.”
