No further action against 43-year-old arrested Epsom man. His bail has now been cancelled. Two teens were arrested in connection with a Horley skip fire earlier today. The skip fire is not believed to be connected with the recent spate of offences.
Surrey Police is taking no further action against a man arrested in connection with the series of arsons in the Reigate and Horley areas.
The 43-year-old man from Epsom was arrested on Saturday 5 July on suspicion of arson and released on bail. His bail has now been cancelled and no further action is being taken against him.
Two 17-year-old boys were arrested earlier today after the contents of a skip were set alight in Horley.
But Reigate and Banstead Neighbourhood Sergeant Dan Gutierrez told locals: “This fire is not believed to be connected to the recent spate of arson offences in the Reigate and Banstead borough."
A 29-year-old man from Horley was arrested on Friday 25 July in connection with the arsons. He has been released on bail until Wednesday 24 September pending further enquiries.
