Plane crashes in Churt

A light aircraft crashed in Churt, near Farnham, on Saturday night in woodland area Furze Hill.
A man in his 80s was trapped in the wreckage and had to be cut free. He was taken to Frimley Park Hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses said they heard a ‘rush of air’ as the plane passed over houses before crashing.
Witnesses rushed to help the injured man, but said police were on hand quickly.
Surrey Police confirmed the man had suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.
