Officers from the Epsom and Ewell Safer Neighbourhood Team and the East Surrey Local Proactive Unit yesterday (Tuesday, 2 December) helped secure convictions against two 16-year-old boys from the Epsom area.
Surrey Police worked closely with the Metropolitan Police Service in Kingston as part of an operation to find those responsible for a number of theft and burglary offences in the two boroughs.
Epsom and Ewell Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Michael Hodder, said:
“These boys were responsible for a large proportion of offences throughout Epsom and Ewell and I welcome the guilty plea.
“Partnership working with neighbouring forces is vital to modern day policing which is demonstrated through results like this."
