With the easing of lockdown, the Café Bar at Squire’s Garden Centre in Woking has reopened with a new, exciting brasserie menu and dining choices throughout the day.
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats are brought to diners at their table in a relaxed and enjoyable setting with options for eating indoors or outside on the glorious terrace surrounded by flowers and plants.
New measures are in place to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Online booking is essential at least 24 hours in advance and payment is by card only.
Tables are spaced 2 metres apart to enable guests to enjoy their meal at their leisure with a new level of privacy and personal space.
Up to six people from two households can sit at the same table. Contactless ordering is via an app with food orders brought to the table on a trolley for guests to serve themselves.
A rigorous cleaning regime is in operation between sittings.
Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s said:
“We are delighted to have opened up the Café Bar at Squire’s in Woking after an extensive re-configuration to ensure the safest possible environment for our guests and staff. Our team have worked incredibly hard to adapt to the new normal and it’s lovely to see them back in action, with smiles behind their visors, as they welcome regular customers and many new faces too.”
The brasserie menu highlights include breakfast and brunch, while an extensive lunch menu is designed to appeal to many tastes with early customer favourites being pan-fried Scottish salmon with Hampshire watercress sauce and the mac‘n’cheese topped steak burger.
Vegetarian choices include spiced cauliflower and warm chickpea salad or the falafel and spinach burger.
Squire’s popular afternoon tea is also on the menu with the option to clink glasses over a bottle of prosecco or Champagne for added indulgence.
