To celebrate our termly focus, this presentation explores stories of inspirational black female cycling champions, drawing upon Moncrieffe’s seminal international research now published in his book Desire Discrimination Determination – Black Champions in Cycling. Books can be purchased following the presentation.
A world-leading expert on the history and lives of Black cycling champions, former elite racer and academic Dr Marlon Moncrieffe lives in Guildford, is a keen cyclist and Principal Lecturer in Education at the University of Brighton.
