Twelfth Night offers much to entertain and delight on a summer’s afternoon. A love triangle, mistaken identity, gender confusion, broad humour and elegant wit are all driven by a little pulse of sadness, which beats throughout.
A shipwreck has divided twins Viola and Sebastian. Each believing the other to be drowned, they both find themselves on the island of Illyria, which is dominated by the households of Count Orsino and the Lady Olivia. Everyone on the island seems to be drifting aimlessly through life. This all changes when Viola and Sebastian turn up!
Bring folding chairs, a blanket, a picnic... and the family and come and enjoy a wonderful afternoon's entertainment in the beautiful sylvan surroundings of Polesden Lacey. Some covered audience space available.
