Trevor Price is one of our all-time favourite artists - he specialises in drypoints and etchings that are handmade and hand printed in his studios in London and St. Ives.
Trevor studied at Falmouth and Winchester Schools of Art and at the age of 28 was elected a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and is currently the societies Vice President. Trevor exhibits widely throughout Europe, with regular solo shows of both paintings and original prints. He has won several national printmaking awards, and in 2011 at Printfest, which is Britian's only art fair dedicated to printmaking, was the invited 'Printmaker of the Year'. His work is held in various collections including the Ashmolean Museum (Oxford), Guangdong Museum of Art (China), Yale University (USA), The Office of Public Works (Dublin), and The Bank of England.
Trevor's work will be shown with fantastic wire sculptures by Jane Clift, the lead artist at A Vintage Garden. For Jane, sculptures are a representation of strength, wholeheartedness, warmth and softness as only a mother and grandmother can be. She is based in Dartmouth and her company, A Vintage Garden, is known for finding unusual pieces of art for the outdoors. Jane loves to create birds and small animals. Jane uses lots of different wire using this medium as others would use a pencil to sketch her sculptures which are a celebration of movement, grace and humour.
