Nicola Benedetti joins with Maiastra players

Nicola Benedetti and Leonard Elschenbroich will join players from Maiastra in a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence. The programme also includes a Maiastra perfomance of Mozart’s great String Quintet in G minor K516 and a duo, played by Nicola and Leonard, that will be announced from the stage. The concert will raise funds for the Aidan Woodcock Charitable Trust whose main objective is the organisation of chamber music courses, entirely free to the student participants. These concerts demonstrate a very high level of musical competence with alumni going on to become members of professional groups. On this occasion, the Maiastra players are:
