There's always live music at Kew Village Market
Pinch, punch, first of the month – make a date with the Kew Village May Day Market this Sunday. There’ll be around 45 friendly stallholders, all selling what they grow or make, whether the finest food – organic, free-range, gourmet-good – or handmade quality crafts. On the free charity pitch, Kew Horticultural will have home-grown plants to give your garden a boost and in the sunshine-yellow music marquee there’ll be two terrific acts: first soulful singer Luke Corbett, fronting a family band, followed by the oomph and oompah of the ever-popular St Margaret’s Elastic Band, making a real celebration of May Day.
