Haslemere Food Festival

Now in its celebratory tenth year, the Haslemere Food Festival will once again be highlighting all that is great about local produce. An opportunity to showcase the high quality food and drink available on our doorstep from award winning suppliers in the town and surrounding areas, this years’ festival will once again display a feast of culinary delights.

Attracting more stall holders than ever before, 2015 hopes to bring you a greater variety of treats and even a chance for you to become the winner of Haslemere’s first ever ‘Bake Off’ competition. The event will be judged by Miranda Gore Browne who achieved widespread acclaim as a finalist on the first series of BBC 2’s The Great British Bake Off. Miranda, who has since established a reputation for wonderful home baking will also be hosting a book signing session on the day.

This years’ festival will also feature a packed programme of demonstrations and tastings, children’s entertainment, live music and the acclaimed sausage competition (held on the Aga stage).

Featuring top quality regional food and drink producers, you will not fail to be tempted by the free samples of food and delicious products for you to buy and enjoy later. Expect to find a great mixture of homemade and local offerings including bakery delights, cheeses, olives, chutneys and preserves, pies, oils, organic meat, English sparkling wine, locally brewed beer, ales, sweets, crepes and ice creams! By supporting these local producers, not only are you getting the best offerings around, you are also helping to support local businesses in the community.
