FusionArts Studios will be opening its doors to the public on June 6 and 7 for the first of its twice-yearly Open Studio art events.
Right in the centre of Kingston upon Thames, the studios of FusionArts are hidden behind a glassy 1960s facade next to and above Heal’s on Eden Street. Occupied by both artists and professional designers - ranging from Graphic, Set and Interior designers to painters, milliners and photographers, the 32 light, airy studios have amazing views over Kingston’s rooftops to Richmond Park beyond.
Visitors to the Open Studios show will be able to explore the building, take the opportunity to talk to the artists and designers in their own workspaces, and browse an amazing array of works that cover creative disciplines from painting, sculpture, ceramics, and textiles to photography and printmaking.
It is a unique opportunity for art collectors and lovers to buy or commission work directly from the artists. FusionArts Open Studios showcases the work of both emerging and more established artists.
