Poetry in Beauty: The Pre-Raphaelite Art of Marie Spartali Stillman is the first retrospective of the artist's work showcasing her importance within the Victorian avant-garde. Bringing together some twenty landscapes, portraits, subject paintings and photographs – many of which have not been on public display since the artist's lifetime – the exhibition will demonstrate the quality and importance of one of the most admired women artists of the 19th century.
