Strawberry Hill House
Strawberry Hill House Theatres
Enjoy a special late opening, before the display end, of Pollock’s Toy Museum miniature theatres, a trail of 14 Gothic plays from the early nineteenth century, which bring Horace Walpole’s imaginary world of Gothic to life inside his ‘House full of playthings’.
Performances of The Castle of Otranto (the 1840s burlesque version of Walpole’s famous Gothic novel) and The Bottle Imp, based on a chilling story by E. T. A. Hoffmann, will take place in the Round Room at 6.30pm and 7.15pm performed by Pollock's Toy Museum Trust.
