WIN! A canal break with Black Prince Holidays

With a speed limit of just four mph, a holiday on the UK’s canal network is a great way to slow down, relax and enjoy the summer sunshine. Black Prince Holidays has bases across England, Wales and Scotland, offering wonderful staycations for families, friends and couples, travelling on modern narrowboats that are pet friendly and fully equipped for exploring Britain's beautiful countryside.

Prize details

Win an off-peak short break for up to four nights from Black Prince bases at Stoke Prior in Worcestershire, Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire, Acton Bridge in Cheshire or Napton in Warwickshire.
Take your break anytime between 2 September to 5 November 2023 or from 15 March to 30 June 2024.
The maximum prize value is £1,000.

Breaks are subject to availability. A fully-equipped boat, linen and towels for up to four people are included. Insurance, fuel and travel to the canal base are not included. Fuel costs approx £18 - £20 per day. Full training and induction will be given on arrival. No previous experience is necessary, minimum of two crew members. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition. There is no cash alternative to the prize.

The winner will be contacted via email within one week of the competition closing date. The winner will be drawn at random from all the correctly submitted entries received by the competition closing date. Winner consent to their details being supplied to the prize sponsor for fulfilment purposes. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. No cash alternative is available. Sheengate Publishing Ltd does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the internet or post. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Loved Canal boating,

We took our children on a few canal boat holidays when they were young, and then our Grandchildren, but now it is our vert tall grown up Grandsons, one of whom is a boat mechanic. The great thing about canal boating is the lovely people you meet, all doing there own thing and enjoying the slow pace, and such beautiful surroundings, making more memories 🥰

Canal Holiday

Went on the Shropshire&Union Canal for a week twice, years ago, loved it.The very slow pace, wildlife,locks,pubs,towpath exercise, very large breakfasts, photography,and great atmosphere seeing other narrow boats.....wonderful, need to enjoy it again!

Every time we’re visiting our son, we take canal walks in Staffordshire and love watching the boats go by.
