Do you know anyone who goes that extra mile (or five) for their community or for another individual? If so then we want to hear from you. This year we are launching the Essential Surrey Awards to honour all those who give so much of themselves to benefit others.
Our Local Heroes category will celebrate the unsung individuals who really make a difference: from bucket shakers and befrienders to football coaches and cat rescuers, we want to know about them.
And that’s not all, nominations are also still open for the Essential Surrey Awards, designed to showcase the very best the county has to offer from the tastiest toasties to the trendiest town centre. We want to say thank-you to all those local businesses, venues and people that make Surrey great. We’ll be featuring the nominees and the winners in a special souvenir issue in June 2019.
