Applications are now being accepted for performers, artists, entertainers and traders to join the festivities at Woking’s Party in the Park on Saturday, July 6.
The festival team is inviting interested applicants to apply online via a new interactive booking system, which can be found at celebratewoking.info/partyinthepark.
Now in its eighth year, the free-to-attend, family cultural festival is one of the largest of its kind in the South East, attracting thousands of people from across the county and beyond to enjoy great entertainment and the chance to celebrate the cultural diversity of the borough, surrounded by the greenery of Woking Park.
Speaking about the event, Cllr Colin Kemp, Woking Borough Council’s portfolio holder for leisure and cultural services, said: “Party in the Park is one of the jewels in the crown of our Celebrate Woking calendar. The event is growing in popularity, attracting thousands of partygoers each year.
