Whether you’re into art, country crafts or food and drink, Surrey has the event – and scenic setting – to suit all tastes. Here are the festivals happening in Surrey this year that you shouldn't miss...
1. Surrey Hills Sculpture Garden Arts Festival

Admire the talent of local and national creatives amid the beautiful lakeside setting of the Birtley Estate. Picnics and dogs on leads welcome. In addition to the 180 art pieces on show, there will be workshops, as well as demonstrations in chain saw art.
2. The Nonsuch Town & Country Show & Surrey Festival of Dogs
More than just another country show, visitors can expect to see Jonathan Marshall, horse stuntman for hit dramas Poldark and Game of Thrones in action plus, Masterchef’s Sarah Maddocks – alongside firm festival favourites including falconry displays, sheep meeting and dog agility, of course.
3. Celebrate English Wine Week

Take the tour to discover just what it takes to make an award-winning vino, plus enjoy a tasting with views across the Surrey Hills. New this May is the Artisan Tasting Trail (launching May 12); giving the chance to sample not only Albury’s offerings, but those of Silent Pool and Norbury Park (cheese) too.
