We finally got the chance to visit one of Surrey & South London's most popular attraction parks, somewhere we have been hugely recommended to visit by a few mums we know.
Hobbledown Hounslow offers an array of adventure playgrounds for children of all ages. From towering climbing frames to exciting slides and challenging rope bridges, these playgrounds are designed to spark curiosity and engage active minds.

On arrival, you can choose to park at the main site, or if you are doing just the pumpkin patch, there is also a car park located on the opposite side of the road for this. With its generous charges also at £1 per hour, you won't mind spending the whole day there.
The play area is subdivided into 4 themed villages: Buckbridge Market, Cribble Creek, Wilderness Wood, and The Mining Village. The attention to detail is pretty impressive.
The Mining Village has a massive sand pit with loads and loads of play equipment, water cannons, underground tunnels and spiral slides. & Lily and I walked around the winding animal gravel path & spotted all sorts of wonderful creatures, from miniature ponies to Highland Cows.
The Great Barn houses a vast indoor play area, ensuring that a bad turn in the weather won’t ruin your fun. The barn is thoughtfully designed, with designated zones specifically tailored for the under twos and 2-5-year-olds. Older children will be thrilled by the giant nets, oversized knitted swing bells, secret tunnels, and exhilarating spiral slides in the over-5s area.

There is a spacious seating area right in front of the soft play area, where you can eat any of the hot foods on offer from the kitchen. If you bring your own packed lunches, there is seating outside (covered) to have your home lunches here. & Lily and I had a great spot under the canopy outside, which was perfect as it was raining the day we went, so we were still able to eat comfortably.
After we were finished at the park, we made our way from Hobbledown to the Pumpkin Patch along a track through the woods, which takes about 5 minutes, even with small legs. You’ll get access to this charming patch, where you can stroll among the pumpkins, picking your own to take home.

Prices start from £3.50 for pumpkins, with larger ones costing more. There are food trucks & many photo opportunities to add to your Instagram or social media accounts. Picking your own pumpkin makes for a memorable, hands-on activity, especially if you’re celebrating autumn or Halloween.
Main tip: please bring wellies, and if you do happen to like any of your normal non-waterproof shoes, as you may regret the brand-new white trainer choice.
