Something for all the family, Christmas carol singing is a key part of celebrating Christmas. Whether you have the voice of an angel or are simply there for the festivities, you don't need to be the next X Factor contestant to enjoy a sing-song in good company. Enjoy a concert led by the Voices of Cambridge Ensemble (VOCE), a group comprising of ex-Cambridge choral scholars and professional singers. Sung by candlelight.
3. Guildford Cathedral

The annual carol service supporting charity Age UK will take place in the magnificent cathedral once again. With mince pies served before the service, performances by The Rock Choir and various Christmas readings, the service is set to be tremendously festive.

Have a tea or coffee and biscuit whilst joining in with the Ashtead Choral Society as they sing a range of famous carols. All profits made will go to local charities The Besom and My Time - all the more reason to sing your heart out!

Celebrating their 800th anniversary next year, this Christmas carol service continues an annual tradition and is certain not to disappoint. Make sure you arrive early to get your seat at this ever-popular event. Mulled wine and canapés will be served afterwards.

Holy Trinity Church are putting on carol events to suit everyone. Sing carols by candlelight, attend a family carol service or truly embrace the festive atmosphere and sing acoustic carols with the rest of the communion. Mulled wine and mince pies are available after the acoustic service.

Enjoy an evening of festivities where carol singing is just the beginning. The nurseries celebrate Christmas in their predictably festive manner, offering newly launched Christmas collections in their shop and mince pies and mulled wine galore. Carols will be sung at candlelight.
