Enjoy a classic play this summer from the comfort of your picnic rug
The British weather may not always lend itself well to outdoor theatre, but the atmosphere that comes from performing among greenery makes it an occasion to be enjoyed come rain or shine
Surrey’s supply of historic stately homes, jaw dropping landscapes and charming riverside locations give a multitude of excellent backdrops for you to pack up the picnic basket and watch some of your favourite plays.

Polesden Lacey
A Comedy of Errors
Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy of mistaken identity comes to chaotic life in this colourful, fast moving production from Polesden Lacey Shakespeare. PLS have a policy of always presenting Shakespeare’s play in ‘traditional’ costume but in line with the anarchic qualities of this farcical comedy things promise to be a little more ‘flamboyant’ this year!
