It's Appy Hour for Guildford clubbers, with a new app that allows you to leave your cash at home!

Taking money with you on a night out in Guildford could be a thing of the past, thanks to a new app which allows clubbers to order and pay for their drinks direct from their mobile device.

The new X-press Drinks app, which is being pioneered by Cameo in Guildford, allows for cashless drinks ordering, and would spell the end of drinks queues at the bar.

Customers at the venue in North Street can now order their drinks from their phone, pay for them with their PayPal account or a debit or credit card and then collect them at the bar.   

 “Queuing for drinks has always been the biggest bugbear for our customers and we’re thrilled to have a solution that makes it easier for people to get their favourite drinks without having to queue or pay with cash" said Rachel Young, general manager of Cameo.

"It’s particularly popular with our female clubbers who don’t want to carry lots of money with them on a night out.”
