All Dogs Matter is a registered charity; a voluntary dog rescue based in London. Its aim is to rescue and re-home dogs in and around London and surrounding areas. The dogs who come into its care are strays, from pounds or simply dogs whose owners no longer can or want to keep them. Unfortunately, there is a growing demand for rescue services in the current climate, as more and more unwanted dogs find themselves in need of new homes. The charities job is to pair each dog with the best new owner for it, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life. ADM work is done in three stages:
- identifying and taking on the dogs in need of help;
- placing the dogs in foster homes where they can be assessed, checking their health, microchipping, neutering & vaccinating them;
- finding a home for them. Another important aspect of dog rescuing is education.
ADM often collaborate with the local authorities to help teach responsible dog ownership and raise awareness about animal welfare. They could not achieve so much without the help of volunteers, be they foster carers, drivers, home-visitors. Donations for the dogs (money but also food, toys, collars, leads and blankets) are gratefully received.
