Landscaping professionals assemble at Battersea Park for annual trade show

Those experiencing the first fall of autumn leaves on Battersea Park mid September, may also note a hive of activity across the 200 acre site, as garden designers, landscape architects, contractors, local authority landscaping professionals, architects, facilities managers and interior designers gather to showcase their services at the Landscape show, a leading UK trade event.
Returning to its home of Battersea Park on September 18th and 19th, Landscape is dedicated to showcasing a vast range of suppliers and manufacturers from across the industry, displaying everything from its bestselling and latest products, innovations and technologies.
With more than 200 new and returning exhibitors, Landscape promises to deliver a range of products from stone, paving and aggregates to CAD services and software, tools, machinery and vehicles. The show has become the go to event for professional designers looking to source new product ranges.
This year, the show features a Continuing Professional Development Accredited Seminar Programme, introducing some of landscaping’s most prominent names. Sessions include talks by Landscape Institute’s Adam White discussing ‘The Future State of Landscape – People, Place, Nature’ ; CGD Landscape Design Company’s Sally Court who’ll be discussing ‘Tales of the Unexpected: Glitches Working Overseas’ whilst Material Council’s Ian Hunter will be discussing ‘Innovative Materials for Landscape Projects’.

Other exciting events include sessions by acclaimed Landscape Architects such as Carolyn Willitts from CW Studio, Ceylan Ombregt and Charlotte Wilberforce from Martha Schwartz Partners, Robert Myers from Robert Myers Associates and Andrew Wilson from Wilson McWilliam Studio.
Finally Landscape will be launching its Meet the Designer sessions this year, drawing together the industry’s legendary Garden Designers to share their insight and experience with visitors of the show. Featuring in these sessions are Luciano Giubbilei from Luciano Giubbilei Garden Design, and Aralia’s Patricia Fox and Julie Toll from Julie Toll Landscape & Garden Design.
The show is open from 10am-6pm on Tuesday 18th September and from 10am-5pm on Wednesday 19th September. Both the exhibition and all seminar sessions are free to attend.
