BBC Countryfile Live will return to a brand new location next year. After four successful years at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, the event will move to Windsor Great Park in Berkshire at the later date of 20th – 23rd August 2020
Tim Etchells, Event Director at SME London says, ‘After four great years at Blenheim Palace, where we welcomed over 400,000 visitors, we felt the time was right to move to a new venue where we can continue to build on the show and attract new audiences to join our loyal Oxfordshire visitors who have joined us each year. We are very excited about our move to Windsor Great Park and its spectacular parkland setting.”
Countryfile Live is a celebration of all aspects of the British countryside and the event embodies this with four days of live arena shows, debates, food, drink, farm animal demonstrations and shopping from over 500 independent retailers and lifestyle brands.
The event will see the return of many of the familiar features of Countryfile Live, including the Farmyard, the Wildlife Zone, the Countryfile Kitchen, The Craven Arms Pub Garden, the Village Green, the Dog Lovers’ Arena and features exploring the stunning grounds of Windsor Great Park.
Mat Way, Global Director, Live Entertainment at BBC Studios says, ‘Oxfordshire has been a brilliant home for the event, with local producers, exhibitors and contractors all contributing to the quality of the overall experience. For its fifth year, we have a great opportunity to open at Windsor Great Park, and we look forward to seeing Countryfile Live in a brand new location.’
Dominic Hare, CEO at Blenheim says, ‘It has been a real privilege to be part of Countryfile Live over the past four years. Together with the team, we have generated millions of pounds for the local economy. The show and its team go to its new home with our gratitude and very best wishes for the future. Oxfordshire can be proud of its role in nurturing this event.’
