On sailings along the Norwegian coast, kids aged 7-13 can partake in the complimentary Young Explorers Programme from 1 April 2017. It is designed for children travelling with adults to magnificent destinations where the focus is on education, fun, and participation. Participating in the Young Explorers Programme is free of charge for all kids on board, and will be available on Hurtigruten’s Norwegian coastal sailings with MS Finnmarken, MS Midnatsol and MS Trollfjord. On these journeys the kids will stay active and curious, get a deeper understanding of nature, climate and culture, and be introduced to topics related to wildlife, local food, environmental protection and famous explorers. This programme truly gives the kids a sense of what it is like to be a real explorer in beautiful and untouched surroundings!
