Something for all the family, Christmas carol singing is a key part of celebrating Christmas.
Whether you have the voice of an angel or are simply there for the festivities, you don't need to be the next X Factor contestant to enjoy a sing-song in good company.

1. Christ Church, Woking

Join the church for one of their many Christmas services. With carol services ranging from international carols to children's carols to carols by candlelight, you are sure to be filled with Christmas spirit.
2. All Saints Church, Weston

Enjoy a concert led by the Voices of Cambridge Ensemble (VOCE), a group comprising of ex-Cambridge choral scholars and professional singers. Sung by candlelight.
This December, there will be a service of Nine Lessons and Carols, which will compromise of readings telling the story of the birth of Jesus and of course, carols.
3. Guildford Cathedral

The annual carol service supporting charity Age UK will take place in the magnificent cathedral once again. With mince pies served before the service, performances by The Rock Choir and various Christmas readings, the service is set to be tremendously festive.
4. Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall

Have a tea or coffee and biscuit whilst joining in with the Ashtead Choral Society as they sing a range of famous carols. All profits made will go to local charities The Besom and My Time - all the more reason to sing your heart out. Tickets £2.
5. Hampton Court Palace

Enjoy evening courtyard carol singing in the immense palace grounds in the final lead-up to Christmas. Everyone is welcome and with the Epsom & Ewell Silver Band to accompany you, you needn't worry about staying in tune.

6. St Mary Magdalene Church, Richmond

Celebrating their 800th anniversary this year, this Christmas carol service continues an annual tradition and is certain not to disappoint. Make sure you arrive early to get your seat at this ever-popular event. Mulled wine and canapés will be served afterwards.

Situated in the heart of Kingston, these services are accessible to both local residents and shoppers alike. Make sure you don't miss the Eclipse Choir Christmas Concert on the 14th of December, which is guaranteed to get spread some joy.

Coro Chamber Choir is returning for one of their very popular Christmas concerts. This year the programme will include 'Gloria' by Vivaldi whilst you enjoy mince pies and sip mulled wine. Song sheets will be available for those wishing to join in.

Holy Trinity Church is putting on carol events to suit everyone. Sing carols by candlelight, attend a family carol service or truly embrace the festive atmosphere and sing acoustic carols with the rest of the communion. Mulled wine and mince pies are available after the acoustic service.
