Isabella Plantation
173 Clarence St, Kingston upon Thames TW10 5HP
Managed by the Royal Parks, the Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park is a woodland garden that's a truly beautiful spot. In spring, when it's full bloom there's no better place to take a picnic and relax. The plantation was planted in the 1830s and has been open to the public since 1953. It's best known for its variety of plant life and trees that drum up interest year after year.
The garden is open all year round, except for a few brief closures depending on the season. Now that is the active season for the pest Oak Processionary Moth has begun, opening times may vary for the specific areas of Richmond Park, including the Isabella Plantation.
