Getting international prize-winning Korean pianist Yoon Seok Shin to perform in Epsom’s series of free Saturday afternoon recitals is something of a coup. In the lovely surrounds of St Martin of Tours Church Yoon will perform three piano classics: Mozart’s Sonata in C, K330, Beethoven’s Sonata in D, Op 28 ‘Pastorale’ and Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 13.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Music, Yoon has had an impressive career as a soloist, gathering an armful of awards, giving his debut recital at St John’s Smith Square and touring across Europe and Asia. He has been praised for his enormous technical ability, polish, poise and the warmth of his musicality.
Admission is free with a retiring donation.
