PRESS RELEASE- THE WOKING BIKEATHON 2015
The Woking Bikeathon will take place on Sunday 10th May, 2015.
Individuals and Groups are encouraged to take part in what is a fun day out for everyone with the knowledge that the money raised will help those in need throughout the borough.
The Bikeathon will start in Woking Park at 10:00, with two routes available to riders, a short route of approx 13 miles and a long route of approx 28 miles.
For the second year running The Woking Kids’ Bikeathon will also take place in Woking Park. Starting at 11:00, this will give younger children the chance to be involved by following a short course around the Park.
Once again our grateful thanks go to our corporate sponsors Barlow Robbins Solicitors, Bourne Valley Garden Centre, Trident Honda and Freedom Leisure and our media partners The Woking Advertiser for their continued support.
This year The Woking Bikeathon is supporting Woking and Sam Beare Hospices, Bloodrunners, Woking First Responders, Woking Mayors Charities and the Halow Project. All of whom will benefit from the money that is raised.
The Rotary Club of Woking is once again seeking the support of our local communities to help make it a great success.
